Preschool Activity: Tracing Shapes With Stickers!

This easy peasy activity is both fun and functional! All you will need is a shapes printable and some small stickers (preferably generic like smiley faces or stars). For the older preschooler, you can have them trace the shape with a marker, crayon, or pencil before they apply stickers. For the younger set, just stickers works great! And, the use of stickers also promotes fine motor skills and helps strengthen those little finger muscles!

  5. Great idea - it might actually keep my daughter working by herself for a change. I'll try it once we get her workbox center set up next week.

  9. Thanks for the link to the shapes. We did this today. We started with stickers, then did tracing with crayon, and then worked on staying within the lines to color. It cracked me up when my daughter tried to say hexagon! ;)
